About Me

This is the website of JR Peck. Who is JR Peck?

I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and my real name is Ronald Edward Peck Jr.

My Family lived in Michigan until I was 9 years old. My mom had a lot of sinus problems and the doctor told her that a dry climate would help. So my folks sold our house and we moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

I grew up in Phoenix, and graduated from Paradise Valley Highschool in 1987. Following highschool I did a short stint with the U.S. Navy. (A 2 year enlistment under the Sea College program, followed up by 4 years of reserves.)

After the Navy, I went to Moody Bible Institute and earned a B.A. in Pastoral Theology with a pre-Seminary emphasis.

After M.B.I., I moved back to Phoenix and started attending Bethany Bible Church. It was there that I met Ingrid Oriole Berry, now Ingrid Oriole Peck. On April 4th, 1998 we were married.

Shortly after that I went back to school and completed a one year program at the DeVry Institute of Technology to pick up a B.S. in Information Technology. Just before graduation I was hired by R.M.C. and spent the next 5 years working for them as an application developer and database administrator.

In the summer of 2003 we started thinking about joining the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. We applied, were accepted and attended new staff training in May of 2004. In May of 2006 we completed raising our initial support and moved to Orlando, Florida.

I worked there for 5 years. My first few years I was an Oracle DBA for the Information Technology Group and then I moved to the Global Technology Office. There I worked with a number of our ministries world wide. In July of 2011 we moved to Diósd, Hungary. I now work as the Technology Leader for the Eastern Europe, Russia and Israel Area of Campus Crusade for Christ.
