Feeds are Fixed

A couple friends that track the site via the RSS feed informed me that there was a problem. I finally took the time to track it down and correct it last night- so things should be good now.

Very nice. Happy that I can now read it easier. But it does beg the question to ask…What happened?

I’m not 100% sure but I think I was hit by a sql injection vulnerability in wordpress. Javascript was added to my permalinks that caused the feed to break. The reason I’m not 100% sure is usually this is done by creating a hidden admin account and then making the change. But there was no account. Possibly though this was an attempt to hide the tracks by deleting the account after the change was made.

I fed the feed into a feed analyzer, that identified the issue and then google did the rest.
